　Under the scorching sun, we mowed the grounds of the planned site for the memorial museum and the front yard of the church. It started at 8:00 and finished at 13:00. Summer in Yakushima is a battle against weeds. We were drenched in sweat, but the scenery was refreshing and pleasant.
