At the invitation of the Nagasaki Gakkai, Tomoko Furui gave a lecture at the Hibiya Municipal Hall on the title “Dutch Interpreter Eisei Imamura and Father Sidotti.''

The Nagasaki Gakkai is a Tokyo-based gathering of people who love Nagasaki to study and talk about Nagasaki.

In connection with the “Sidotti Exhibition” being held at the Nagasaki Uragami Christian Museum, Tomoko Furui was invited to give a lecture in the historical building of the Municipal Hall (built in 1929 as an attached facility to Hibiya Public Hall) facing Hibiya Park. She talked about Sidotti in Nagasaki. There were about 25 participants. As expected, it was a gathering of people who love Nagasaki, so there was lively conversation at the social gathering after the event.
