We planted six Sicilian olive saplings.

In addition to working hard to improve the environment, we also planted six olive saplings from Sicily, Italy, on one plot of land where the Memorial Museum is planned to build, in order to create a little bit of the atmosphere of Sidotti's birthplace. Can Mediterranean trees grow in subtropical Yakushima? We also hope that the ycan withstand the Island’s summer heat.

As part of the Seven-Eleven Memorial Foundation Environmental Citizen Activities Grant Project, we held the second vegetation survey and environmental study in Yamanose (Koshima).

The first village ecotourism training session was held for Koshima villages with Mr. Jinshi Terada and Ryutaro Higashikawa as the instructors.

There was an administrative tour by 17 people, including members of the Kagoshima Prefectural Assembly, and we enthusiastically explained our NPO activities.
